Do I reveal I'm pregnant?
I was a permanent sub this past year and in June I was told by the principal that I will continue on as a perm sub this year, but she hoped to get me into a classroom position. I didn't tell her I was pregnant at this time because I was ony 8 weeks.
This principal has left for a job at district office but said she would pass on the word to the new principal.
Today I get a call from the secretary asking if I was still interested in the perm sub position. I said definitely and she told me the new principal wants to meet all the candidates. So I guess I'm interviewing to keep my perm sub position?
I'm 15 weeks pregnant right now & wasn't planning on saying anything until I returned to work in Sept. Do I need to tell her at this meeting? This is my seventh year trying to get a teaching job & I've just about given up. I just want to keep this job until I have the baby. Any advice is appreciated. Thank You!

I wouldn't say anything. They can't ask, and there's no reason for you to tell just yet. Good luck!

Thank you for the responses! I'm not going to say I'm pregnant. It's weird that I have to interview for a job I was told I already have. Maybe shes interviewing for maternity leaves which I wouldn't be able to do anyway since they start a month or two before I'm expecting.
Fingers crossed I can fit into one of my suits!
