Last day of EI school?

DS's last day of EI school is Friday. He has a teacher and two aides.

I gave the teacher a $25 GC at Christmas (although it was a different teacher) and each of the aides a $10 GC at Christmas.

Should I get something for them now? If so, what?

I gave the following.

EI therapists (7 of them):
$25 GC each (they had the same at Christmas last year too)

Social Worker
$25 GC (she had the same at Christmas last year too)

School/Mommy and me:
$25 GC for teacher
$20 GC to each assistant (2 of them. They do most of the work really!!!)

We gave her teacher and the teaching assistant a small gift and a $25 GC.

We gave her therapists a $20 GC.

She also ended with her ABA therapist the same day (she was with us for 2 years) and we got her a nice pair of earings and a GC.

For xmas coming up though I know I'll have to add a small gift for their computer and music teachers.

I'm sure whatever you plan on giving it will be appreciated. I know alot of the parents at my DD's school didn't give out anything.

I'm getting the teacher a $25 gc and the assistants $10 gc. I forgot about the therapist at school, now I am wondering if I should get her something as well, *sigh*.

With all the teachers and therapists we have (we have him in daycare and 1/2 day preschool) I can't afford to do any more than that. I hope they appreciate whatever we can do.

we have had the same therapists since December 2008

1 teacher 2 aides since Sept 2009

we gave for end of year/services

teacher - coach change purse
aide (f) - coach key chain
aide (m) - coach money clip

service coordinator (she sees my DD as well with child find)
4 ABA therapists
1 speech
1 OT
coach wristlet

his old team leader/aba therapist/soon to be CPSE family trainer
$20 dunkin donuts GC

for christmas of 2009 we gave them all GC (i cant remember the amount)

bc we had so many, we couldnt be as generous as we wanted to be.

give what you can afford...
