Phone Call Question

I have to call a few students today but do not want my phone number to appear on their caller ID as I am calling from my home. I know there's something I push, what is it though??

Also, how much does it cost for each call that way?

I'm pretty sure it's *67 but some people prohibit you from calling from a blocked number.

I had to call a parent the other day, hit *67 to block my number, but they blocked me when I called.
I wound up calling from my cell phone. I wasn't thrilled with that either, but it was certainly better than giving them my home number.

Thanks for the responses!! I used *67 and anyone who blocked it (2 houses) will have to wait until I go to school tomorrow...then I'll use the school phone!

I always use *67. Works on cellphones too!!!!
