Gross, TMI Pap smear question...
Sorry in advance, but do you still go for a pap if you get AF? I'm supposed to go for my 6 month pap today and woke up to AF a week early

I'm not sure if you have to, but I would reschedule for the following week because i wouldn't like the idea of having it done when AF was visiting. That's just me though.
If you don't mind my asking, I thought we only had to go for a pap once a year?

you go ever 6 months if you've had an irregular sometime in the past few years
eta: i don't usually go if i have af but maybe you can call the office and tell them and see what they recommend

I had some precancerous cells a few years back and had to have a LEEP and Cone biopsy. Since then, I have to go every 6 months for paps (lucky me)
I rescheduled, even after they told me to still come in. I couldn't do it LOL

They say you can get it done while menstruating.
but ME personally wouldnt be comfortable with it
