I found this site when I was searching for schools in Nassau. You have to ask lots of questions though, about what you are looking for specifically. I discovered that the district sent our paperwork to schools that we didn't request and some of the class sizes were totally inappropriate for what DS needed.
If your DC was recommended for a certain program or services, I would make sure they have those specifically - for example, full day vs. half day, do they provide push in or pull out therapies, what is the class size and ratio to teachers, is it integrated, etc.
