Update - Pumpkin picking ..
So i posted asking a question of where to go this weekend b/c my husband was off.
well, we drove all the way to water mill.
WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY! it was so nice!
Hanks pumpkin patch / fall festival.
pay 10.00 per person and you can do all three mazes and both tractor rides / pulls, slide, etc...ALL DAY! my kiddies had such a good time, as did DH and myself. why??? b/c right across the street is duck walk winery.
so... we hung out at hanks, went across the street had some wine and listened to music, ate lunch and walked back to Hanks, they played again for a while, then back home.
it was a blast and i HIGHLY recommend the ride.
we came home pumpkin-less, but who cares? we have pictures and memories that last forever.
we lost interest in the whole pumpkin thing b/c of all the other activities they have there.
AND... for those of you who wait a while for "pumpkin season" let me tell you the gorgeous perfectly shaped pumpkins you are missing out on b/c everyone gets to them before you!
it was a great day, and thought i'd share my experiences if you are looking to do the same...
