2 male dogs together?

I have a question,

I am getting a puppy in November. I do not know the sex.
I already have a male lab. I have only had a male and a female. my mom had two males at one time..
I heard if I get a male puppy the dogs will have a showdown and mark everything.
I do not recall this in my moms house, has anyone had this issue?
I am crate training the puppy and will get it no matter what if its a male. has anyone had this issue ? if so how long did it go on for?

Currently I have 3 male dogs. A German Shepherd, a boxer, and a pit bull. The first two dogs have been neutered. The pitty hasn't because he recently received treatment for heartworm and we wanted him to fully recover from that before putting him under for a surgery. I had absolutely no problems what so ever with marking with my first two dogs. However, Walter (the pit) was a HUGE marker of territory. We used the crate whenever we weren't home for almost a year. Occasionally I will find something but it was nothing like when he first adopted us.

I have 3 dogs - 1 female Rottie and 2 male German Shepherds. We got the first GSD last year - when he was 7 months old we got the other one, who was 1 year old at the time. The 7 month old was not neutered ( he still isn't and he's 17 months old), and the 1 year old male was neutered. I never had marking problems or problems with the dogs. They play together very well and are the best of friends, thankfully.

It does help that my female Rottie is the dominant anyway, so they both had to obey her anyway.

A crate is definite for a 8 weeker, Olaf is older and very passive, he might not become territorial with the pup. I know he tried marking at my moms when she had her male dogs but it was years and years ago.
We shall see I guess, and who knows..maybe it will be a female :)
I will def get the puppy neutered asap, I think they might already do it. They do not want the dogs to be bred.

I have always had multiple male dogs of various breeds, and the only time I had an issue with habitual marking was when there was also a female dog in the house.

I have 2 male dogs and have never had a problem with them marking in the house.
