If the teacher grades are released, what does it mean for a low rated teacher?
My kids did not do well, would I be in danger of losing my job?

NO! Welll not according to the Union. One of my grades is not so hot. I know I am a good teacher and besides taking the test for them I am not sure what else I could have done. I swear to God I would love to tell that to someone in the DOE.

not to crash- but does every teacher get one? i havent been told if i had a data report or not- ive been teaching for 4 years- 4th grade....

I love how there's such an emphasis on math and ELA these days  The next generation will know NOTHING about history and have terrible science skills

I find it ridiculous that they are trying to do this. I teach first grade so don't know how I will be judged..but they should also show how many kids speak no English at home, come to school late everyday or have a crazy absent rate..

i know. i love how they're just glossing over the ESL or neglectful home environment factors when looking at ELA test scores.
i did hear--and i'm not in the city, but for our annual evaluations they're including scores--that percentages of free & reduced lunch were going to be represented somehow. anyone hear/read anything like that?
