Anyone use lenox tan and suggestion for color
I'm thinking of using it for our den and possibly the other nursery...I like the idea of it for our den, but not so much for the nursery...we're painiting now and we won't know the gender until Feb and honestly don't want to wait to paint that one room until then...DD's room is ultra girly pink and this one was girl or boy I was thinking of doing very zen but no clue what color to paint it..I don't like the idea of having it the same color as our den

We have lenox tan in the DR and I love the color.
I can see why you wouldn't want it for the nursery though. Another color I love is grege avenue which we have in our BR. Not sure if it would be classified as a zen color, but it is a taupe, nice and neutral.

can you wait on painting until February? It's only 2 months away, then you can choose whatever color you want!
Or pick a bedding for both Girl & Boy and find a neutral that works with both sets
BTW, I have LT in my dining room - great color....

I would, DH doesn't want to And honestly with the reno of the house I need to pick my battles bc I've been insistent on bigger things so I need to let him have this one so I need a neutral color and will def buy bedding and accessories that are ultra boy or ultra girl once we know, I just need a good neutral color for the walls!

Re: Anyone use lenox tan and suggestion for color
I have it throughout my first house....I have pics if you want to see. I would NOT NOT NOT use it for a nursery. JMO though
Any other thoughts on color for the nursery? Does it need to be tan or any neutral? What about gray?
If you really want a neutral, go with the lighter Shaker Beige. I have that too. Lenox Tan is pretty dark.

Def does not have to be beige, but not loving grey..I was thinking yellow, but can't find any color that doesn't remind me of urine on the wall

We're doing putnam ivory in the hall and living room
I looked at shaker beige, I'm on the fence maybe a good yellow, I haven't found a good yellow yet

Re: Anyone use lenox tan and suggestion for color
We have Lenox Tan in our living room. It may be a shade dark for a nursery but we have Bleeker Beige in the hallway and that's a bit more muted and lighter.
Pics of all colors in my album.

Re: Anyone use lenox tan and suggestion for color
I used quincy tan instead of lenox and it may be on the same bm strip as lenox. I used it in my living room, dining room and hall way and love it so much. In my house the lenox sample looked goldish but I wanted a deep rich beighe with no gold tone. I painted our spare bedrooms in gender nuetral colors because I didn't want to get them painted twice. I used nantucet grey (looks greenish) in the future nursery and copley gray in larger room.

Re: Anyone use lenox tan and suggestion for color
We have lenox tan in our office/playroom, I like it but not as much as other tan/taupe colors we have in our house (BM shaker beige, smokey taupe) and wouldn't do it for a baby's room.
As for yellow, DD's nursery is a yellowish green and I love it. We painted it actually before it was a nursery and the color worked with a lot of bedding sets. It's BM Sweet Pear... pics in my album.

Re: Anyone use lenox tan and suggestion for color
We have lenox tan throughout our foyer and our master bath- i do like it but probably wouldn't do it in a nursery. We did BM Hot spring stones in our nursery and absolutely love it!!!!! Its a neutral color and we have white trim with it...i'll try and find a pic
