Re: Interpret please...
You had a D & C right?
I guess it depends what your level was at the time of the D & C...

Re: Interpret please...
how far along were you when the mc happened? did you have beta tests before the mc? that would give you a range of where you were so you could see how much it's going down.
But only a week after D&C, I think the 544 might be an OK number. It really all depends on where you were before.
I never had a beta after the D&C.

No D&C. Miscarried naturally with the help of those pills.

I am so ******!!! I switched practices from my first dds practice. When I asked them what my beta level was they told me they dont do them bc they saw a HB. I was like ***.... And OBVIOUSLY there IS a reason to have them. for situations like this...

I have found that there seems to be more incompetent doctors out there than competent ones. I think if you are uncomfortable with the doctor then you should def look into switching.
I don't think beta testing is typical unless they have a reason for it to be done. I did think they would do it if you requested it though.

Re: Interpret please...
My dr didn't do beta tests before or after mc. We had already seen something on ultrasound. He did another u/s a few days later to make sure my uterus was empty.

same here. we saw a heartbeat at 5weeks6days - so just about 6 weeks. at 9 weeks there was no heartbeat and i could see that there wasn't much growth - i knew it as soon as i saw but i was in denia until they tried looking again with the vaginal u/s...but once they brought the doctor in and he asked if i was crampy i knew we had lost it for good...
2 days after the d&c i had an ultrasound done again - but in the er b/c i was having some issues (not with bleeding or cramping i just didn't feel right and felt like i was coming down with a fever) and they checked to make sure my uterus was totally empty and it was...they also did bloodwork and urine to check for infection and found nothing...
i never had any beta/hgc levels checked that i am aware of. if i did the Dr never discussed it with me...

See and I am pretty confident all is out. I am doing the ultrasound tomm. but I cant understand why my levels are so high if all is out.

I hate to say it...but with mine that was different...I bled for weeks, months...so TMI...I so thought there was nothing left...it kept coming and coming and coming.

Re: Interpret please...
It really depends on how high your beta was to begin with, it can take time to go all the way down

Re: Interpret please...
I would expect your number to go below 25 in the next 2 weeks (it can take longer, but generally it takes 2-3 weeks for the hormones to leave your body). You'll then ovulate and get AF 2 weeks after.
Don't expect AF before 4 weeks post-bleeding, at minimum.
