Years ago I got a call from a very famous designer for an interview(and I got the job). They found my resume online. It was with career builder or hot jobs. This was in 2001 pre 9/11.
Now I just get insurance companies wanting me to come in for seminars(scams)
I keep my resume private and they can only see my email to contact me. Not sure if this makes a difference.
