Cost of having a dog bathed, NOT a hair cut

I have two dogs, and it has become such a task to wash them at home that we've decided to pay a groomer to do it. One of my dogs goes to a place for his haircuts, and that's about $70, so I figured a bath and nail clipping to be at most $50. I called 2 places today, and I got quotes of $60 and $40-50. One dog is a lab/chow mix and is about 70 lbs, and the other is an Australian Cattle dog, about 50 lbs. Are these prices accurate? And can anyone recommend a place near Islip?

We take our dog to Carol's in Sayville/Bayport. I think it's like $35 ea. for 2 50-60lb dogs. There is an organic groomer in Sayville that's about $40 for that size dog too.

Well, I can't help for location wise, but I can tell you what we pay. We have a 100 lbs. yellow lab. I bring him in about every 3 months just for a bath and to get his nails cut, ears cleaned, etc. NO hair cutting. It costs me $38. I drop him off and she is normally calling me in about 2 hours to come pick him back up. I absolutly love her! The name of the place is K-9 Design and they are on Broadway in Massapequa. It's a mother and daughter who own and run the whole business. Jake likes going there and they are really friendly! GL!
