Any series recommendations?
Since I read fast and tend to get really into my books I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good series? I loved Sookie Stackhouse and Stephanie Plum so maybe something along the lines of a mystery and the more books in the series the better! Thanks!

Re: Any series recommendations?
DH and I are reading Dresden Files...there are 12 books out, another coming out in March, and a book of short stories that just came out (aka - don't read them until you've finished at least book 11). If you liked Sookie, I think you would like these. The humorin the books is really good, and I find myself literally LOLing about once a chapter.
From Wikipedia: In the world of The Dresden Files, magic is real, along with vampires, demons, spirits, faeries, werewolves, and other mythical monsters. Harry Dresden works to protect the general public, who are ignorant of magic and the dark forces conspiring against them. This makes it difficult for Harry to get by as a working wizard and private eye. The Chicago PD's Special Investigation unit, when led by Karrin Murphy, regularly employs Dresden as a consultant to help solve cases of a supernatural nature.

Re: Any series recommendations?
There's only 3 of them, but the Heather Well's series by Meg Cabot is good: Size 12 is Not Fat, Size 14 is Not Fat, Either and Big-Boned.
Also, kind of a more mature series (the heroine is married to a minister, with children) is The Body in.....series by Katherine Hall Page. They're not bad, they read quick.

I don't know if this is a series per se. It's 3 books. I'm on the 2nd one. The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins.
OMG I am LOVING it!!!

Re: Any series recommendations?
I loved the Donovan family series from Elizabeth Lowell:
Amber Beach Jade Island Pearl Cove Midnight in Ruby Bayou
They're a family of jewel dealers. Really great mysteries/suspense with some romance thrown in.

Re: Any series recommendations?
I liked the Queen Betsy series by MaryJanice Davidson (Undead and Unwed, etc...)...it's vampire chick lit, but as the series went on it got a little darker, not quite Sookie Stackhouse, but entertaining.

If you liked the Sookie Stackhouse books you'd also like the Night Huntress series by Jeaninene Frost and Alpha and Omega series by Patricia Briggs.

It gets a little graphic with the autopsies and stuff. Because of that it seems to be a bit darker than the TV series. But I loved it, I liked the way she writes, and I couldn't put them down.
