Hernia repair and Tummy tuck at same time....Updated

Has anyone done this?? I am having the surgery in Feb and want to know how much pain I really am going to be in..... I am preparing for the worse and saying its going to be ALOT worse than my Csection.... TIA 2/14/11 So I had my surgery on 2/8 at Winthrop Hospital and everything went fine. I am home in ALOT of pain at the incision site and the drains are really annoying. To me this is far worse than my csection and I cant wait to get these drains out and start feeling better. I am sure once I am all healed up I will be happy I had the surgery but right now I cant see the light at the end of the tunnel. My stay at Winthrop wasnt so great....they were short staffed on the floors and I wasnt happy with the quality of care I recieved. I do love my surgeons and everyone in recovery was great it just sucked on the floor.If I didnt need to have this surgery I wouldnt have done it....I just cant believe people do Lipo and Tummy tucks all the time....more power to them....I will update again once I am all healed up.

I had this 2 years ago February. I also got a breast reduction at the same time. DD was 4 years and DS was 4 months old.

I found the pain similar to a c-section- not bad at all!

I had MIL stay with us for 3 weeks. I didn't lift the baby or much else for that entire time. You can still do most things around the house- just no lifting.
