i just started reading this and the writing style is really getting on my nerves  please tell me it gets better or at least that i'll get used to it!

Ughhh I hate books like that. I read in the description it's told in the kid's words so I can imagine it's annoying! I didn't like the writing style of Hunger Games either- that it was told in present tense I guess? But the books were so good that I got used to it fast. Hopefully the same goes for this one!

I just started it too and I love it! I love that it is written from a 5 year old boy's perspective. So far so great!

 Glad you liked it, my book club liked it a lot! I loved the minor details like how they had to wear a mask when they first got out.....didn't even think about that

I'm in the middle of reading this, and I was SOOO into it in the beginning and especially in the middle (omg, I was on the edge of my seat for a bit!!!) but now it is sort of boring for me. Does it get any better toward the end? I want to finish it, but I need some motivation now!!!
