The last proposal I made was very successful. It wasn't about us getting more or doing less. It was about giving more to others - company sponsored charity events and efforts.

We did a Habitat for Humanity build, a fundraiser/family day at the Wildlife Rescue Center, sponsored two full families for the holidays, and had a food/clothing drive competition for the Salvation Army and Toys of Hope (prizes were things like dress down days).

We're expanding the efforts this year. The dress down vouchers were such a hit, that I'm going to propose an extra dress-down day a week.

At our place, as part of fundraising, you could BUY a jeans/sneakers day! Five dollars each...totally worth it!

I have this at my job already but I think it would be great at any job.

We can work "credit hours." I can work anywhere from 15 extra minutes to 2.5 extra hours a day. This time gets banked and I can use it later on (whenever I want, they never expire). I can leave work early or save up 8 hours and take a day off, without using sick or annual leave. You can only have up to 24 credit hours at a time.

we get so many sick days, but lose them at the end of the vacation year, it would be nice to carry them over. i don't use more than maybe 2 or 3 a year.. if i wanted to i could use all of them but i think that would really make me look bad!

also i would love it if i could leave an hour early instead of taking a lunch hour, since i never really take lunch anyway... leaving an hour early really makes a difference w/ regards to traffic!
