It looked like we didn't get hit too badly where I live- but Metro North is currently suspended so I would not have been able to go anyway! LIRR is suspended as well. I am sure that was a factor- if they can't do their thing, it must be really bad!
I set my alarm for 5 to turn on the news. Normally I wake up at 6ish. Half asleep I hear CLOSED. I thought I was dreaming. I jumped out of bed and said NO WAY!
Enjoy it! So relieved about not having to take the day myself! It looks pretty bad out there, so tomorrow won't be great, but at least we are all safe today!
So excited....I was really shocked when I woke up at 5am and I saw on the tv that Bloomberg actually closed schoools!! Thank god, because the commute would have been horrible, absolutely no parking....and I have taken so many personal snow days already with this crazy weather!!!!!!!
I came on here, didn't believe it. Went to 311. Still didn't trust it. Watched the news. Went back to bed!
