Congrats on making it so far!
I really want to do this. Tell me how you made it so far please, because I tried it last summer and never made it past week one!

Re: couch to 5k people
One thing I did, b/c week 5 has the scary long run, is I made it a two week thing.
I made W5D1 and weeklong thing and did day 1 3 times.
Then the next week, I did Day 2 twice and then the 20 minute run.
I did the same thing with week 6. So basically, those two weeks took me 4.

Re: couch to 5k people
I've only started a few weeks ago but I've been using a podcast (robert ullrey) which has been really helpful!

thanks - i found carli's podcast on runningintoshape .com and it's been a great motivator. i don't have to think about anything, she tells me when to run, walk, etc.
i started week 5 today and am surprised that it skips from 8 min to 20 - i thought for sure it would go to 2 10 min runs, but i guess not. i think i will try four runs this week w/a repeat of day 2 as a previous poster mentioned. 20 mins seems like a looooooooooong time lol

havent looked ahead at week six, but i think i'm going to try week5 day 2 2xs this week and if i feel ok, i'll try day 3 at then end, otherwise i'll repeat as you did. today's 5 min intervals weren't too bad but i am running at a snails pace :)

Re: couch to 5k people
I loved couch to 5K and then my trainer told me to try just plain running bc she thought it was too easy.
For an ex-smoker like me, I'm still stopping and walking every few minutes, so I think I'm going to start on week 3 again in secret.
It's a great program and I think it's perfectly ok to repeat weeks if you're not ready for the next level or if you go a while between runs.
It helped me lose the baby weight 2 years ago and then helped me lose a bit of weight I gained over the past year too.
