what's the best couch for people with pet allergies?
We need a new couch and DH keeps saying we should get a leather couch b/c he's a little allergic to our dog and he has other allergies as well. I really don't want a leather couch and I think I heard microfiber couches were good for people with allergies? Can anyone help me out? TIA.

We don't have any pet allergies but we do have a microfiber couch that is great because it is soooo easy to clean!!

My microfiber couch is pretty to look at, but that's about it.
My pug's fur is all over it. It is a pain to keep clean (fur wise). Vacuuming doesn't really do the trick.
Not sure how that would be allergy wise

I would agree because you can pretty much wipe the hair off leather.. sorry to side with your DH

Also sorry to side with your DH, but leather is probably best. It's easiest to really get the hair off.
