Blood vessels in my eye

For the last week I've been noticing that my one eye's blood vessels are more prominent..it comes and goes though.

I'm a contact wearer and it's not itchy nor is there any discharge...
Any ideas? I'm thinking dry eye...

I'd say dry eye or allergies. Dilated blood vessels in the eye are a classic allergy symptom.
