I just pulled this tick off of Rudy.
ETA: Figured it out, it's a dog tick.

Ugh...no matter what kind they are ticks are just gross.
BTW, I don't know about you guys, but we have been finding a ton of ticks on Misty this year. And, apparently, our vet told us that the fleas are going to even worse.
I am just going to start buying Frontline by the case.
