cmp technology
just wondering if anyone on these boards works/ed at CMP in manhasset. I was curious to hear some general things about the company..how is the work environment, career development, etc.

My sisters friend works there and LOVES it. My DH works for a rival company but says he has heard good things and that their benefit and pay is pretty good. He would send a resume but his boss and some of the bosses there know each other

Depends on the department. My friend just left there and so did almost the rest of her department because of issues.
Another friend works there and she loves it ...

Yes, but which department/magazine.
I still talk to a lot of my old co-workers and many of the departments are going through a re-structure.

My friend just left there as well - she was in layout and she was miserable. The rest of her department left as well. She is at another company and VERY happy.
