ugh! maybe tmi question

wednesday night i got a stomach virus and was up all night throwing up and pooing.. literally ALL NIGHT! thursday i was still shitting all day and went to the urgent care hours at the doctor at night since i had stomach cramps, chills, shitts, etc. and she said it was just a virus, drink fluids, etc.

friday morning i woke up and had brown period-like blood. it's not my period because that just ended last week on friday or saturday. i didn't call the doctor friday because i thought it was prob just from all the puking and shitting strain on my stomach/abdomen but it hasn't stopped and it's a lot of blood not just spotting.

has this ever happened to any of you? any idea what it might be?

Do you have a fibroid or cysts? I have a fibroid and sometimes the spotting gets worse when I've been straining from stomach issues.

I'd make an appointment with your GYN just to make sure all is ok. Feel better

Maybe it has to do with where you are in your cycle? If I have a bad virus like that it causes me to spot sometimes if AF is close. I think between the stomach cramps and pushing (sorry... ) sometimes it causes spotting. I have heard that is normal but I also just found out I have a cyst so my spotting could be because of that. If it's a one time thing I think you are fine but if it continues I would bring it up with your doc.
