Refurbished Sewing machine?
Would you buy one? Its between a better model that is refurbished and a few less bells and whistles, but brand new. Which would you choose?

Re: Refurbished Sewing machine?
Hey sweetie!
I have one with all the bells and whistles and I don't even use those extras! lol
Where are you getting it? from a place? would there be a warranty on it? what are the exact additional options that you're comparing?

Re: Refurbished Sewing machine?
I would not be afraid of buying refurbished as long as its from a reputable place. I have a few machines and honestly my favorite is my first machine ever which was my moms originally and I think it was made in the early 70's. Not a lot of features but man that thing never fails and its very sturdy. I get it tuned up every few years and want to keep it because I feel like the machines were made so much better years ago. Good luck and just do your research, ask for a 30 or 60 day guarantee.

Re: Refurbished Sewing machine?
Thanks ladies! Any suggestions on where to buy it? I was going to buy it online, but I guess I shouldn't do that.

Re: Refurbished Sewing machine?
Maybe check a locally owned "mom and pop" sewing machine store. I know a lot of those stores will take trade ins so they might have a few that they took in that they can sell at a good price. They might also know of people that are looking to sell a used machine- people are always trading up. Good luck!
