How did you get through the end???
We got our scheduled c/s date. It's May 10 & I'll be just over 38 weeks. I know that most likely we won't make it that long, but I'm already getting so uncomfortable. So, tell me, was the end really awful? any tricks to getting better sleep at night? I already use a pregnancy pillow. My ankles are so swollen. I remember feeling this way at the end when I was pg with DD, but I'm only 31 weeks along now.

Re: How did you get through the end???
I delivered at 33 weeks 6 days via an emergency csection...the night before I went to bed thinking...I honestly don't think I can do this much longer...The next day they were here! I think your body just knows and will hang in there until it is time and your LOs are ready to come. Hang in there! I know it is tough!

Re: How did you get through the end???
I'm 35 weeks (today), my schedule c-section is 39 weeks. My OB doesn't think I will make it that far but said he'd be happy to deliver at anytime after 36 weeks.
I just need to hold on for 6 more days
I will say every day is harder and harder between keeping up with my daily "chores" and taking care of 2.5 year old DS. But I make it through and I know you will too!

Re: How did you get through the end???
Thanks, ladies. Jess, I don't know how you do it. I can't imagine going through this when DD was that age. Even though I wanted my kids closer together, now I'm glad that she's 4 and more self sufficient. She still drives me nuts sometimes though.

Re: How did you get through the end???
I need a miracle. I am in soooo much pain lately its ridiculous!! I want to scream continuously throughout the day! These babies are so heavy. And my pubic bone is KILLING me. I made it past 32 weeks now though so thats a plus. Can't wait to see how big they are now at their growth sono Thursday.

Re: How did you get through the end???
I made it to 36 weeks (the babies were taken though because of issues they were having, not because I went into labor). I am not going to lie, I just had a single baby and the end was a breeze compared to the twins pregnancy. I could barely walk after 33 weeks and had to leave work. I literally felt like a head was going to pop out. I remember thinking the few days before that I could not do this much longer. It was miserable....but the minute they take the babies out you forget all about it...I promise....so hang in there!

It was pure Hell. I 100% sympathize with you. Noah was 2 and it was Hell. LOL..sorry. I just really feel for you.
I slept. A LOT. And I just took it easy.
I hope it goes fast for you. OR easy, or simple or what ever you need.
Hang in there mama!!!!

Re: How did you get through the end???
the end was ROUGH for me. i would sleep sitting in bed propped with pillows all around me and behing me b/c if i laid down I felt like I couldn't breathe. my DH slept on the couch some nights b/c i couldn't get comfy on the couch and if i did get comfy in a strange way in bed he wouldn't dare mess with that!
i remember picking my older DS up one day to change his diaper and thinking he was getting heave so it would be easier to sit in the floor and do it.....well that was a bad idea b/c i sat indian style and then could hardly get up!!!!
i delivered at 35w3d and by then i was so DONE. i was done way before that but obviously knew i had to keep them in as long as possible!
hang in there......try to rest when you can and put your feet up.

Re: How did you get through the end???
I went to 38wks.
It was hard and I know if I waited more....I would of really complained a lot! I also worked to the end. I sit all day and honestly I felt that was worse.
-sleeping was the worse, all the weight shifted to my hips. I was in agony at nite and well the HEARTBURN was terrible.
It wasnt that bad as I look back...I was at the mall literally the nite before.
You can do it and I hope it goes the same for you.
