Following the release of the “Kill the Kitty” video, the Town of Hempstead has still not implemented any of its promised measures to protect and save our Community’s homeless and helpless animals. In fact, life-saving policies have been revoked, leaving the animals in a most dire state. Supervisor Kate Murray has pulled the plug on our kill shelter animals. They will die tormented and silently.

Esteemed animal advocacy groups such as the Humane Society (HSUS) and No Kill Nation have contacted TOH Officials offering expert reform assistance, yet the Town does not respond – WHY? For almost 6 months the public has begged its officials to do the right thing by its ani mals, yet the Town remains defiant to these requests. The Shelter door remains slammed on life saving Volunteers. Staff that have been poisoned with the same mentality of past leaders remain in place. Are they also feeding their own torment sickness? Our voices must get louder and stronger – for the animals and the taxpayer. $7 million can save A LOT of lives if spent appropriately.

Please join us and pay tribute to the precious, innocent lives that were tormented and killed. Do not let them have died in vain.
