pesticide and dogs

My landscaper put pesticides down today. How long do you think is safe to wait to let my dogs in the backyard?

Re: pesticide and dogs

Well what did he put down? Actual pesticide or other lawn products?

I ask b/c I thought they weren't supposed to put anything harmful down until the water has been turned on, I think I was told April? B/c if you don't water, how can the pesticide dissolve?

If you aren't watering, then I would not let my dog out until at least a few days after it's visibly gone (after it has been watered that is though).
