strange question- anyone get a food baby?
This is probably going to sound like the weirdest question but here it goes:
When I was big, I had a skinny friend who after she ate a big meal would complain about her food baby and how her stomach got bigger. I was always just like "yea I was fat before I ate and I'm still fat"
Lately, I've been noticing that after I eat a decent size meal, my tummy does increase a little. Whereas when I wake up in the morning, my tummy is back to being flat.
It never happened to be when I was fat, but now I can defintely see it. I know its a weird question, but does this happen to anyone else? Is it normal to get a little "food baby"? Is it just because I'm skinny now you can actually SEE it?

Yes! I get the same thing. After I eat a full meal it looks like I am 6 months pregnant

I am not as skinny as you but if I eat a very large meal (especially foods like chinese) and i get bloated and feel so full and my stomach actually gets round and large! ew!

same here... plus I have IBS so bloating happens after everything I eat too.

I can drink a cup of coffee and my stomach sticks out. The flatter your stomach, the more you notice it. Though I did find that when I had abs (like a defined 4-pack) it didn't come out as much. That was a very breif period of time though ,lol.

definitely happens to me... and on top of the I have IBS so if I don't "empty" for a week or so, I look huge and look and feel awful

I never had one pre-preggo, and not so much after DS#1, but after DD, I look 3 mos preggo after I eat!

I said something similiar to DH when we went away for a week. I literally ate ice cream EVERY day (sometimes like twice a day). I looked like I had little food twins!

Yes totally. My belly is relatively flat...but its the first place I gain or lose weight.
If I'm bloated its big, if I'm dehydrated its slim, if I'm constipated its big, if I *am all cleaned out* its freakin flat!
If I eat a lot at night, my belly is a blub in the morning and I feel gross. If I go to bed hungry, guaranteed I wake up and my belly is sunken in, its my gauge!

It also happens if I drink a whole glass of a drink even water!
