Nikon Repair Shop Q

If you are bringing a camera in for repair personally; do you have to fill out all the paperwork info that is online? Does anyone know the hours?

Also how long is the warranty (if you send in the paperwork)?

I brought in my nikon a few years ago so I don't remember 100% but I'm pretty sure I didn't have to fill out any paperwork.
They fixed the issues relatively quickly any time I brought it in.

I've been there twice in the last year. You just have to fill something out when you get there. I don't know what's online, but it just asks for basic info. The hours were 8:30 to 3:30 last time I was there.

Thank you girls. Does anyone know how long the general warranty is? Someone said 1 year but if you send in the info/mail it; it's extended for a year?

This is again based on the work that I've had done, but it's for one year. The work they do on your camera is under warranty for 6 months. I don't know about mailing it extending the warranty.

ETA: When I brought my camera in for a second time, the person at the counter tried to put it in as a service warranty for me b/c the problem both times was with the flash. But it was a no go. Nikon said my second problem was due to impact damage, and made me pay anyways.

The original camera warranty is 1 year. 5 years on some lenses.

I am not sure about extenting the warranty except the warranty on the work they.
