Ulcers...and stomach issues

My mom was recently diagnosed with an ulcer after having an endoscopy. She was also diagnosed with a rare condition called Pelvic Floor Dyserngy; There is no cure for the rare condition and its basically when her nervous system and brain arent working together to get her digestive muscles to poop. Sorry..TMI.

But im wondering for the ulcer..what kind of diet is recommened. they've put her on prilosec and she's been on it a week and complaining that its not working. Obviously, its not going to get better in a few days. Ulcers take years to create.

my mom has a poor diet, or no diet really b/c eating causes her so much pain. but I think she needs to cut out the coffee, and other crap and get on a sort of bland easy diet.


any suggestions on those who suffer from ulcers?? what works best ??

i was just dxd with 15 flippin ulcers!!!
i am now on prilosec.

i asked the doc if i need to change my food alot.. she said the main thing is to stop taking aspirin products like advil etc. no more pepto bismol either sigh.

she said its most likely from these things.
i am sure on my follow up visit she will give advice about food more since when i saw her was right after the endoscopy.

oh she also said to take the prilosec on an empty stomach 1 hour before eating.

i am sorry about your mom. maybe you can call the dr for further info about foods to avoid.
