May I vent? Major stomach issues...
I've mentioned it before- That I have major stomach issues associated with my IBS during this pregnancy...
It's getting to the point where I am very depressed. I am going to the bathroom ALL THE TIME and I am so afraid that once the baby gets bigger the pains are going to get even worse....
The doctor is waiting to prescribe any meds because being preggo we can only go to a certain dosage... but I dont know hwo much longer I can wait...
I'm allergic to whey, gluten, dairy, fried foods, oils, (So that cuts out ALOT of things like white breads etc) leaving me to eat whole grains, and high fiber items... Which leaves me having to go to the bathroom...EVEN MORE
I cant take anything to bind me because any binding then leaves to my spastic colon (Catch 22?)
I secretly am envious of those of you who are consitipated...as I cant even make it to work without having to run into a dunkin doughnuts....
Thanks for letting me vent... I needed to get it out and can't really share with anyone here

I'm so sorry. DH is a physician and deals with patients in this condition, it seems to me the most difficult condition to treat even when you can take meds. He's consumed and talks it over with me all the time to try to think of solutions. When I got prego, I asked him what if I had it, what could you do. He said he'd have to turn me away, since he has nothing safe enough for it, in terms of treatment. It was really horrible to hear that since he's been my primary go to for any medical opinions and advice.
My heart really goes out to you
