Help Nikon d7000 or canon 60d? Canon and nikon users pls come in!!!
I started out with an entry level canon that I love but after less then a yr Im ready for an upgrade
I know how to use the canon controls so that would be a pro if I stuck with canon but after doing a lot of research nikon d7000 is cming up as a little the better for pics and the canon for video. I'm also wondering if the d7000 has an internal focus for lens and is compatible with the less expensive af lenses (if anyone knows????)
I really would love to stick with canon bc I have a 50mm1.8 lens and a few uv protectors that I don't feel like selling but in the grand scale of things and in years to come I just want to be sure.
I need advice on this one and I guess I would just love to hear your experience with these cameras

I've been a Canon shooter from the start and I wouldn't change a thing. Really whether you go Canon or Nikon, you can't go wrong. They're both constantly outdoing one another, and that's a good thing! Canon and Nikon are the frontrunners for a reason. The 60d is a fantastic camera, and if you've already invested in other Canon gear, it's definitely easier to stay in that direction.
If you love the way the Canon feels in your hand, you may not feel the same about Nikons. Nikons are a bit heavier, and feel completely different, not to mention the controls are different as well.
If you're comfortable with Canon, that's where I'd stay. That's the route I went, and I wouldn't change it at all!

I'd never get a Nikon for the exact same reason. When I try to use any other brand but a Canon, I can't do ANYTHING...
