Are my kids the only ones who don't play video games?

Ryan is 5 and Erin will be 4 this summer. I feel like they are the only kids who don't have a DS or video game system. DH is not into them which is probably we don't have any here. Anyone else?

DD doesn't play at all, DS plays the wii sometimes on the weekends. DH doesn't really play either.

DS is getting a Nintendo DSi for his birthday next month, so he'll probably start playing more.

My DS is 6 and has a Leapster but barely touches it (we got him a new cartridge for Christmas and he hasn't even opened it). He really has no interest in video games - he'd rather be playing outside or building something with Legos.

We've tried the Wii with Ryan (almost 5) but he is not that good at it, so he doesn't really like it. He has a Leapster that he plays with sometimes and he plays on the iPad and his Ipod touch.

Kerri is 5 and has never held a video game or controller in her hand.

My DD is almost 5. She does have a vsmile hooked uo to the TV and has a leapster. She plays with each 1-2 times a month, not very much at all.

We didn't get Damien a Wii until he was 7.

Noah was not really into games until he was probably 5-6. We had the systems, but he just wasn't too interested. He doesn't play them at all now. Partly because I don't allow him to unless it's a special treat (he gets really angry at games). Robbie plays - but not really often. He prefers to be outside with Nerf guns.

I actually have found that it's more peer involvement that increases game time desire. It's one of the reasons I refused the XBox Live this year. Many of his friends are on it all day and I don't really want Robbie to be like that.

My DD is 5 and has a DSi and takes it out every so often but it's not a weekly thing and I'm happy about that

DS is not much into video games. DH and he play Little Big planet and Wii on Sat afternoons if we are home but that's only for a limited period(max 1hr). We won't be getting him a handheld system till he is 7 at least..

We don't have any in the house, DH is into music, I think he was born a bit early for video games.... he never played them, I don't play any computer games.

We don't have a Wii, don't have an ipad... absolutely no DS... not a fan of kids walking around with their faces glued to them.

My kids use starfall.com on my laptop, watch some Nick Jr. and DVD's. We're not big fans of commercial TV so they are only now learning about some things marketed to children from their friends.

... I definitely limit their interaction with media.

We recently got a Wii, so we sometimes play as a family with my 5 yr old son (Sports and Sports Resort has stuff that's good for his age-- bowling, tennis, bicycling, etc).

No iTouch, no iPad, no DS or any handheld devices for the time being. As he grows older, I'll reassess.

Nothing in this house. As I check my email, etc., this morning, the girls are sitting at their little table drawing. I'm a huge proponent of boatloads of freeplay...

Except for a leapster, which I limit, we have no video games in the house of any kind. Touch noogies, kids!

My older 2 ( 8 1/2 & almost 7) have DS's but they don't play them all that much. My 5 yr old plays it sometimes but also not too much. We have no TV system. They aren't asking for one. They all out in the yard playing right now so I will hang onto that for as long as I can. They do go on the computer to Club Penguin or Animal Jam but with limits.

OK, how is Kerri 5???!

Anyhow...my DDs are 4 and 5. They both have Leapsters which they play with in spurts. We also have a Wii...but we got that for us so that we could play Beatles Rockband. We actually have one game for them (Disney Princess something-or-other...) that they've played like twice.

My DH and I do not play video games and IDK, it's really not my thing for my kids at this stage...

we dont have any video games here. Once in awhile they will play a game on my phone. We have the wii, but rarely use it. They would rather be outside running around in our yard.
