Dh's who play video games
I was wondering on average how long do they play and how many days a week do they play.
My DH is obsessed with x-box 360 and plays everyday for at least 2-3 hours. It is really starting to bother me. I was just wondering how long everyone elses play.. thanks

ok mine is a big gamer! he plays EVERYDAY before he goes to work for at least 2-3 hours sometimes more. but i look at this way...he's not out at a bar or hanging out doing God knows what with his single friends. whenever i start to feel myself getting upset i just remind myself that he's home with me and to be happy about that. 
i try to sit in the room with him so we can chit chat while hes playing. he loves it and i cant take that away from him.
eta: now if your problem is that there's only one tv in the house then yea i'd yell too!  he's gotta learn to share!

It depends...if we have nothing to do, he can be there ALL day...but generally maybe an hour or two on a weeknight if there is nothing we want to watch on TV.

he know is bothers me, we always argue about it. He plays about 5 times a week for at least2 hours. He has played one time from 8:00pm to 5:00am and the only reason he stopped was b/c I woke up and last night he played until 6;00am then went straight to work and did not sleep at all. He just came home from work and went to bed.

Dh has an xbox 360, he doesn't play everyday...but when he does play he usually plays for about an hour...he usually plays when I do my school work

does he have something important to do? what would you rather him do?
being a gamer myself...things that need to get done (dinner, wash), spending quality time with DW and so on come first.
everybody has things they do in there spare time...his might only be playing video games...

plays it maybe 3 times a week for an hour or two depends if any of our friends are on xobx live. But has never been an issue. HIs usually playtime is when I am doing lesson plans or I am sleeping

same exact thing for me, I have no idea. But I can only imagine its hours on end because he "works" from home which leaves him with a lot of free time on his hands.

DH is an avid gamer....consoles AND computer.
but being the stand up man that he is, sold his units because we needed the money.
Since having kids....it is/was down to only a few hours a week for his down time.
He's been playing the new Half Life game on the computer

DH is a big time gamer. He can play all night long. There was a time when it bothered me, but I realized, he is not out drinking and gambling, he is home. Last night he played until 4AM, and I got to sleep.

My DH isn't a big gamer at all. He enjoys it, but goes for months at a time without touching the thing. If he gets a new game he'll play it more until the novelty wears off. Then, it's about 3-4 times per week for 30-45 minutes until he beats the game. Then it goes away again for months.

DH will play about an hour or 2, 2-3 times a week..AFTER the baby is asleep.
He'll play XBox..I hop online.
Once every few months him and the guys will have "game night" which is fine with me, the ladies sit and chit chat all night.
Oooh...He informed me today, he is looking into PS3 (with his Christmas bonus)..It's fine with me, as long as he keeps still 2-3 times a week and still helps out with the baby and household stuff first (cleaning, dishes, etc.)

DH plays his xbox at night when i'm watching tv for usually 1-3 hours or when i'm not home.

DH used to play about an hour or two per day, but now he rarely plays. It used to bother me. Especially when I would come over and wind up sitting by myself while he played.

My dh plays at night after our son goes to bed. If I'm not on here, I'll play with him. He bought me an account and a headset so we could play together. We've been up to 3am playing some nights.
I would say about 5 nights a week he plays...for about 4-5 hours a night.
