In need of a Career Change.. advice?

Hi Everyone,

I am in serious need of a career change.. I currently work in the travel industry (typical corporate job) and I really want a change. I have over 15 years of childcare experience. I am trying to find a job as a nanny or a teacher or teacher's assistant in a nursery school or daycare center.
The problem is, when I send out my resume I never get any responses because most of my experience on paper is in the corporate world.

Any suggestions?? Anyone know of a family or daycare/nursery school who is looking for help?

I've checked on craigslist, indeed.com, etc. Just not having any luck!

I LOVE children, (we've actually been TTC for about 3 years now and have been unsuccessful). The corporate world is just not for me!

I have no major advice, but is there any way you can change your resume to mostly reflect the child care experience you have?

Another thought is to possibly go into places like day care centers and apply (if that's allowed).

I would absolutely hand deliver your resume to daycare facilities! My son goes to a daycare and they are always looking for mature, caring individuals.
