For girls who knew when they conceived.

So I know that I conceived 3 days before I O'd because I temped. If you knew exactly when you conceived do you plan to follow schedule again like you did when you got your BFP? The 6 months Ive been TTC Ive never really thought I could get a BFP by BDing 3 days prior to O but now that I know I can I def. plan to start early on. What is your schedule going to be once you start TTC again? Do you plan on changing anything now that you know when you conceived before MC?

sort of. The month i got my bfp..was the first time i ever tried an opk. We bed two days before I got the smiley..and then we bed the evening of smiley face (i'm 90% that was the night we conceived, becasue i had cramping after bd'ing).

This time around we bed two days before smiley again...the night of smiley. AND the night after smiley..so i actually added an extra night.

I'll let you know if it worked in a few weeks...its funny because i had those some cramps after bd'ing again...i hope that's a good sign!

thanks. I won't lie, i'm praying i'm one of those people who gets preggo very quickly each time.
With my first ds, i got pregnant 1st month trying...and with this last pregnancy i got pregnant very quickly too...technically 2 months after trying..but i used an OPK only on the 2nd month, and it worked.

I'm not sure when I conceived the first time. It was the first try and we were having sex every few days and stopped using protection. I did mark the days we had sex on a calendar so it was most likely day 11, 15 or 19 since I now have the knowledge that I O around days 13-15 and those were the only days we had sex around what should have been my fertile time.

So far I've used an opk and tried Deanna's Plan and also sex every other day and so far nothing has worked yet. I thought we would have no problem conceiving quickly but I am on my fourth try already. I think it is just luck of the draw. You need more than just timing, you need a good egg, sperm and a successful implantation so I can see why it could take awhile for everything to be just right.

Hopefully this board has some good news soon though

At first I was using OPK for about 5 months just to track my cycle. My were right on track each month so when we finally decided to TTC, we the day before and the day after, we got our BFP on the first "shot". I guess that when I am ready to start again (DH is but I need more time), we will follow the same schedule.

It took me 6 months with my last child. I got pregnant this time on the first month. I just got a cbefm and hoping that I get luck on my first month also. Good luck to everyone
