girls who knew about their shower and greeted their guests...
Kind of silly question but what did you say to people who made comments about you knowing about your shower? Not all my guests know I know so they will be surprised to see me there greeting them. I'm not sure what to say when they hit me with the "oh you knew about the shower? How come?" Or "why didn't you want a surprise" questions along those lines

Honestly, no one even asked me. I think most people assumed I knew since it didn't say surprise anywhere on the invitation. I think most people will make comments about the bump and less about the surprise, but it could be that most of the time showers aren't a surprise in my family?

most of my guests knew, but the ones who didnt I reminded them it can be dangerious to surprise a 35 week pregnant woman... i felt like if I joked about it they'd be less likely to make a dumbass comment...

I helped my mom plan my bridal shower as well. I just said to people who asked "what is the point of it being a surprise?, most girls find out anyway and just pretend to be surprised"!

I teased and said the reason I knew was because I didn't want a surprise to cause me to go into labor on the spot. LOL.

My cousin knew about her shower and nobody that I know of said anything to her. I thought it was a great idea and will hopefully know about mine.

When someone asked me this yesterday I said "It's a lot of work for all people involved to make it a surprise, and 9 times out of 10 somone usually slips, so instead of the uneeded stress I know the date"

I showed up 20 minutes into my shower start time. Not many people were there because there was a HUGE accident on the SSP so a lot of them got to the restaurant late. Shockingly, no one mentioned why I was there already. I guess because they thought they were late. But for the local ladies they didn’t say much about it. And if they did ask why I wasn’t surprised, I said because I didn’t want a surprise shower. Nothing about this baby is a surprise (I did IF treatment) so why start now?!
