Has anyone had cryosurgery who is now dealing with infertility?

I had precancerous cells in my uterus about 15yrs ago and I had to have the cryosurgery (freezing) done. I am now wondering if that could be (in part, not all) the problem.

I asked my last re and his response was that he didn't feel there was a problem, but he was also the one who spoke without looking at the hsg film which he said he didnt have, but his office contacted me a few days later to pick up because they were holding onto it.

Just a thought.

you had the cryo done inside your uterus? Or on the Edge of it?

I had the cryo done to my cervix about 4 times before other surgeries. I dont believe based on what I know that cryo would hurt your chances. Its very minimal invasive...it only takes off the first layer of cells ( whcih is similair to a pap smear just over a larger area)

It was in my uterus and at the time the dr said it was probably the worst area to have it. I dont remember him saying why.

I also had cryosurgery a few times several years ago. I remember my GYN saying the "scar tissue" from it could be blocking my chances. I was like "Great." I for an HSG test tomorrow also.
