How much does a personal trainer cost?
Got a quote today and it sounds very high.

My gym...NYSC in nesconset is 100 per hour. Crazy!
They are insane. Their rates just went up in May. It also depends if you have a master trainer or not. One costs more than the other. Before the rates went up I paid $519 for 12 30-minute sessions. I always do 15-minutes of cardio before my session and my trainer always works with me for 40 minutes since she doesn't have a client after me, sometimes longer.

You can negotiate. We got a package for DH 36 visits @ 25 for 30 min session.

$35 for 30 minutes when I train alone
$25 for 30 minutes when my sister and I train together
I was trying to get a boot camp together because that would be $10 a person as long as we had at least 6 people.

1k for 15 1 hour home sessions. I'm on the city. My husband pays $750 for 10 45 minute sessions. Two totally different types of trainers.
It really is a luxury expense and I may have to give mine up soon due to a gigantic IRS bill.

I paid 599.00 for 20 sessions....so it's about 30.00 a session I think that is a a very fair price.

I go to a private 1 on 1 trainer for an hour
$60
(I think her prices are slightly more- but I have known her since junior high)
