Not impressed with personal trainer...should I ask for a new one?

I get 3 free training sessions since I signed up for the gym.

I just did my 1st "55 minute" session, which ended in 25 minutes. It's not that I dislike the guy, but I wasn't too impressed.

He already had me book my next two, free sessions with him.

Would it be weird if I called the gym and asked for a different trainer? I don't want to get the guy in trouble, but I know for a fact that I'd never pay him for sessions.

Thoughts?

Tell them you want to try out someone else. I would probably just leave it at that but you could even say that you may buy more sessions but you do not want to buy more with this person. They should be glad to get you in with someone else if they think you may book more sessions.

I think the only way you could try and get out of that without it being awkward is to maybe call and say you're more comfortable working with a woman. WHy did it end in 25 min?Chat Icon

He did have me work all muscle groups and I was getting tired.

In the beginning, he did say that the first session was for him to get to know what I can handle, etc.

I was thinking about going for the next one and if that still doesn't go well, cancelling the 3rd and asking to reschedule with someone else.

It seems strange that he would end in 25 mintues. Chat Icon I would definitely ask for another trainer.
