Weight loss and being sick
I've had a stomach bug for 2 days and so it's been saltines and apple sauce for me. I hopped on the scale to see this morning, thinking I would gain since I'm on a low carb diet (the night that I got really sick I had a lot of bread at a restaurant to settle my stomach).
I was surprised to see I lost weight this week, and I'm the lowest I've been since starting this diet in April. Is this real weight loss? Once I start my low carb diet, am I going to gain this back?
I know in the past when I'm sick I lose and then gain, but I was never really on a diet then. I almost used the first day feeling good as an excuse to pig out. Do you think if I just go back to my normal diet I can keep this weight off?

Re: Weight loss and being sick
This is likely not a true weight loss and you will probably gain some of it back once you start eating a regular diet. I hope you are feeling better soon.
