New year, new you!! Official Weight Loss Challenge Thread!!

Hello everyone!! I did reach my holiday goal of a 20 lb loss but I'm afraid to get on the scale to see how much I've gained back Chat Icon I "let go" for like 3 weeks, but now I feel like I can finally come back.

I don't have a specific goal for 2007. By the end of this year, I hope to be keeping up with my ww, eating healthier, and excercising regularly (my biggest challenge!).

For those of you who jumped off the bandwagon as I did, here's our chance for a fresh start once again. New year, new goals, new you!!!

I am going to get serious. Getting started is the hardest thing for me. I am making a grocery list now so I have good choices in my house. I am also planning to start making time for me, and getting back to the gym.

starting the yr off right. i'm tracking every morsel of food that goes into my mouth. dh didn't want to go to the gym but i went. i had a good workout

I am starting with the personal trainer on Wed. I want to lose the 15 pounds I have put on since my wedding. Good luck to everyone trying to get healthy and stay motivated!Chat Icon

I am working on my WW list and starting my journal. Today is the last day of bad eating habbits.

I am starting full force tomorrow with a good brisk walk in the morning. Just trying to figure out my walking path. May take a walk later when I am with the dog for a test run.

I too am starting tomorrow beacause my wedding is now in six months!!!!!! No more excuses. I can't be at this weight and feel comfortable in my wedding dress!

I am back on WW tomorrow, and am rejoining the gym and starting with a personal trainer this week!!

I was so proud of myself of reaching my goal weight for my wedding and since then....downhill. I mean, nothing major but i just want these annoying new 5 lbs OFF and SOON!!!

January 2nd (the first day of my journey to lose 20 pounds!!)

Breakfast:
English Muffin (2)
Laughing Cow light cheese (1)
2 tomato slices (0)

Lunch:
2 slices pepperidge farm light whole wheat (1.5)
1 Tbsp creamy peanut butter (2.5)
1/2 Tbsp low sugar grape jelly (.5)
6 oz Yoplait Light Cherry Yogurt (2)

Snack:
3 oz. carrots (0)

Dinner:
4 oz chicken breast (5)
1/2 cup rice (2)
1 cup broccoli (0)
1 tsp olive oil (1)

Snack
1/2 cup Edy's no sugar added frozen yogurt (2)
1 tsp sprinkles (.5)

Total : 20 pts.

GYM!!! 30-45 minutes cardio!!!!

All right girls!! I'm back and I'm wiping the slate clean!! I had quite the head start this weekend - I was in the hospital overnight with some leathal stomach nightmare - which lost me a couple of pounds (which is really the only good thing that came out of it!)

My monthly goals are as follows:

1. Lose 10 pounds by January 31st.
2. Fit into satin pajamas by Valentine's Day Weekend.
3. Lose 25 pounds by St. Patrick's Day.
4. Lose 32 pounds by Easter Sunday.
5. Be able to wear outfit at nephews communion that I was able to wear at his older brother's communion.
6. Lose 40 pounds by my birthday, June 9th.

That will take me to mid-year, where I'll be able to reassess my progress and make up a new set of End of Year Weight Loss Goals!! Of course each month I'm going to to have to set up how I'm going to acheive each goal, but I think these are pretty reasonable and reachable goals.

I worked hard to loose some weight for my wedding & accomplished it. I since have gained it back & do not feel good about it. I am back on track as of today
