vent re facebook and shamrock
I posted my cutsie pic of shamrock on my FB page and my not so funny uncle posts 2 times about using my puppy for target practice. And then when I called him out on it he posted boo hoo hoo- I will still use him a target practice.
I am so mad at him right now-he should know better. I deleted his comments and contemplating deleting him completely.
Just need to get that out

I have never known him to abuse animals. I think he was trying to be funny but its just down right mean!

Is your uncle a yankees fan? I'm guessing you posted the same pic you put on here with your cutie pie in a mets shirt. I'm a huge yankee fan and when I saw the pic, I thought "adorable puppy and outfit but too bad its not a yankees shirt"  . But you certainly NEVER say you want to take target practice on such a cutie! DELETE HIM!!

I see....now it makes sense, otherwise he sounds like a wacko. I think he was just being funny. I would question it somehow, to be sure its about the Mets logo.

For me, unless I knew my uncle was someone who is known for that kind of stuff, I would have taken it as a joke. I would have just deleted the comment and that's it, I dont think I would have interpreted it as malicious or anything more than a stupid joke.

That kind of stuff pisses me off beyond belief, and yes I have family members who write stuff equally ridiculous. I made no qualms about blocking them from being able to post on my page/photos/status updates. IMO facebook is visible to everyone in your personal life and I don't need my co-workers or law school classmates or friends seeing some d!ck comment an idiot makes about my dog or hobby or whatever they feel the need to mock, family or not. And if that didn't stop the issue then I would delete them in a heartbeat - family members do not always need to be facebook friends.

 People are so stupid. Sounds like my "aunt" who makes a stupid comment on every move I make on facebook. Recently, I've blocked all my posts from her so she doesn't see me in her newsfeed. So far, it's been bliss.

I have deleted him from my friends list. The thing is I blocked him one other time because of something he said but then I decided wth I put him back. Never again.
