I've never done it before. Do I have to join to do it? What's the cost?

i think its the best weight loss program out there. yes, you have to pay. you could do it online or go to meetings. the meetings are great!!!! u get so much support from them

find a meeting time that you are comfortable doing. get there at least 15 mins earlier bc you have to fill out some paperwork. i have the monthly plan which is 40 a month and you have access to etools and as many meetings as you want. stay after the meeting for the getting started group. also try diff teachers if you can before you pick one.
i owe my success to my teacher, shes amazing.

I agree that meetings are the best way to go. The leaders are amazing! I go to Susan on Sat. mornings in Wantagh and she's great.

There are different payment plans but the best one is the monthly pass- its $39.95. It includes unlimited meetings and also the etools. The best part is once you are a lifetime member (meaning you reach your goal weight and maintained it for at least 6 weeks within 2lbs) you go for free- for life!

The plan is pretty easy to follow and someone will go over it with you.

i wouldnt do online. i thought i could and spent 3 months paying and never tracking. im going back to meetings on sunday. it really motivates you...especially getting on a scale in front of person to judge you. jk

Kris, I did WW for some time years ago and its GREAT. Call me if you have any questions about it but it taught me how to eat to lose weight and be healthy. I went to the one in Patchogue but I don't know if there is one closer to you.

I've been doing it online since March. I've lost 25 lbs. You have to be ready to lose weight and be dedicated.
It's not easy. There are days when I would love to revert to my old habits, but I decided I need to hit my goal and there is no stopping me.
It cost me $17.95 per month.

For me, meetings were the way to go. If you're in the Lynbrook area, I know a wonderful leader that does meetings in Lynbrook on Monday nights at 7:15 You can be as quiet or as vocal as you want. You can sit front and center, or in the corner in the back, and no one will judge. The beautiful thing about WW is that everyone's there for the same reason.

There are 4 different payment options:

1- Monthly pass - $39.95 per month. This is the cheapest option and gives you meetings AND e-tools.

2- 17-week pass - $194. 17 weeks worth of meetings, no e-tools.

3- $13 weekly - pay $13 each week when you go to meetings, no e-tools

4- WW Online - $17.95 per month - online only, no meetings

i joined WW online in march and i love it so far! i do find my weight loss is slower than my coworkers who go to the meetings but i found online to fit into my lifestyle easier. i track everything and stick with my workout routine as much as possible.

the best part of WW is that you dont feel like you're on a diet. if you want to go out to eat or have cake you can. but its all in moderation and making healthier choices.

Been doing it online for a week and I'm thrilled with it....I track everything on my phone and have found it very very eady to stick to. I needed something that wasn't restrictive and this is working very well for me so far.

Been doing it online for about 6 weeks. First time on the new points plus program.

I've lost 15 pounds. It came off faster this time around. I think I started heavier than last time I tried.

I also think the points plus plan gives me an edge over the old plan. Better for my lifestyle.

I could never fit in the meetings.

Another 20 pounds and I will be within range!
