Colonoscopy prep?
I'm having a colonoscopy tomorrow and am miserable lol. I'm starving!!! I can only have clear liquids today. I have to drink 64 oz. of gatorade with this miralax powder (A LOT of powder) and take 4 Dulcolax. Not looking forward to this evening lol. Just wondering if you had this test, what was your prep?

I had to do a jug of water mixed with a powder they gave me. No pills or gatorade. By the time you start that, you won't be thinking of food at least! The drink was pretty gross but my dr. told me to suck on a lemon wedge if I didn't like the flavor which helped. The worst part for me was not being able to have any water when I woke up in the morning. I was so thirsty I would have given anything for a sip of water! Make sure you have some right before your cut off time!
Overall it's not that bad at all. GL!

Yea ok, I totally hate it! I'm struggling to get down my last cup. Not thinking about food anymore lol, just trying to keep it down! I will NEVER drink lemon lime gatorade again!!

That's what I did. It sucks. I think I drank almost all of it. Maybe a glass left and I was clean as a whistle.
I get them regularly (every 2-3 years)..the worst. It will be over soon.
I did wonton soup broth, popsicles, jello and gingerale.

I did exactly the same except the jello (because I only like red lol)! I dumped about a glass at the end. All went well though

Just had my colonscopy on Friday. The prep sucked. I was starving also. I had to wait till 1PM to go to the hospital. I chewed gum(not sure if I was supposed)!!!
