Cat peed!
Bella peed in our office. She has never done that.
Besides taking her to the doc to see if she has an issue could it be emotional?
DH and I had a pretty big nasty fight two nights ago. Do you think animals feel the tension?

yes I think animals do feel the tension. My dog casey just sits quietly and shakes when DH and I fight :(

I hope it doesn't happen again. DH noticed it this am. He cleaned up as much as he could but tonight when we get home we really have to do a thorough mopping.
Ugh! Cat pee is the worst.

My dog hides in the closet, even if it's just a small fight. It breaks my heart.

pets can definitely feel the tension! it was probably the fight that caused it but if she continues to do it it could be something else. use apple cider vinegar to clean it up...it eliminates all of the smell!

really I didn't know that!
It wasn't a loud fight but the tension was definitely there.

my cat hides behind out gigantic flower pot.. and doesn't even play afterwards..  they can sense it..

It can be emotional, after my Father passed away, my cat was doing this, when my then boyfreind now DH would stay over, he would pee on his side of the bed! We caught him doing it too. The vet said it could be emotional. We kept an eye on him and he was fine after we gave him a shirt of my Father's to sleep on. I would keep an eye on the cat, if it continues get the cat to the vet. They can feel tension/stress.
