Sad...job interview update
So I lost my job because of my district's state aid being cut but got called for an interview last week in another district.
The interview went great, I got called that night to do a demo lesson the next day.
The demo went great and then I got called to interview with the superintendent.
Well when I got there I found out it was between me and 1 other guy.
He had 5 years experience and was just excessed.
I only have 1 year experience of my own class. And now I haven't heard anything.
I really thought I was going to get it

its really hard right now I feel your pain!! DH has been a perm sub in the district that had an opening for the past 5 years hoping and praying this one teacher would retire because its was DH teaches! Well it happened the teacher retired and dh got his interviews this summer they went awesome until he got the phone call they hired someone from outside the district!! He was devasted!!
Keep your head up I hope something comes thru for you just know your not alone

samething for him 2 mins from the house perfect situation!! Good luck to you!! I know what you are going thru it sucks!!!
