First Day of school Outfit?
What are all the kids wearing for the first day of school this week?
We got tons of new clothes for back-to-school, and you'd think I'd realize by now that I should have picked up something short-sleeved.
Of course I want her to wear something new, but I don't want her to sweat either!
So I'm just wondering what all the kiddos are wearing this week when they go back to schooL!

Last year was easier...his class was assigned color and it made it easier.
It's supposed to be 70s and rainy...but I'm sure shorts and a short sleeve top with a wind breaker.

I think DS will be wearing jeans, a short sleeve plaid button down and Converse. All of it (down to the underwear and socks) is brand new. LOL

Summer uniform!! Gosh, love not having to worry. they wear navy shorts and a white polo with the school logo.
I had no idea if was supposed to be rainy and cool

Same. My kids typically don't start wearing their 'new' clothes until October-ish.

Summer dress- I always dress in a special dress for the first day. Its a pretty dress my sister bought her this summer - if it rains she can take a cardigan and rain jacket, but hoping it wont be pouring.
PS Hi merbernia - nice to have you back on the site - or maybe you have been back for awhile and I wasn't paying attention.

Same. My kids typically don't start wearing their 'new' clothes until October-ish.
I only buy long sleeve shirts and long pants for school clothes because before you know it, it will be cold out.

I picked out this adorable skirt and 3/4 length shirt for my dd but she is refusing to wear it - typical. So we picked out a pretty short sleeve long shirt and 3/4 lengh leggings. Its black, white and pink so its not that summery. I have to pick my battles but it just looked so darn cute on her.

We ended up picking out a new long short sleeved shirt that she can wear with jeggings tomorrow. At least she'll have something new to wear for the first day of school, and I think it will be in the low 70s so pants should be fine. Then by the 2nd day we'll wear whatever, heh, I just wanted her to be in something new for the first day of school pictures and all that!

My son is wearing a polo shirt, shorts, and new sneakers. If the weather is really chilly, he'll wear jeans.

If tomorrow is like today, then jeans and a short sleeve tee. If its nice tomorrow, shorts and a short sleeve tee.
