Spnoff to Older & TTC....
Of those of you who are older (I am 40) who is trying naturally?
I have a few decisions to make and I thought this might be helpful.

I am 36 and we have full intentions of doing things naturally. There is no reason to believe that we arent fertile. My mother conceived two children after 37. My sister was 35 when she conceived my nephew. If after 5-6 months after active TTC, we don't get pregnant, we were advised to return to the OB/GYN. Then and only then will we consider other options after further counseling.
I think older women may be inclined to use other methods sooner because time is not on our sides. I did undergo genetic testing, but would have done so regardles of my age.

i am almost 36 and we tried naturally for almost a year and had 2 m/c. last month i finally went to a RE. if i dont get pg this month we will be starting clomid to help me ovulate sooner.

We tried naturally for 7 months, and nothing. We're now in the process of getting testing done to see if we have any factors against us from getting pg naturally.

I am 40 (41 in October) and started when I was 39 - six months of natural, three months of clomid/natural, and six months of IUI's - nothing.
We are now waiting to see if DH get a job with the state and move onto IVF.

We are older (40+) and we tried naturally for over a year and nothing. I'm waiting for the results of my HSG and we are now thinking of doing IUI.

I'm 37 and we've been TTC naturally for 8 months. I've already had the preliminary blood tests and DH has had the semen analysis.
If it doesn't happen this month, we'll move to the next step - though, honestly, I'm not sure what that is.
