C-section ladies...what types of exercise routines did you do the first few weeks you got the green light

Hello ladies!
I had a baby 4.5 weeks ago and gained 52 lbs. At 4 weeks pp, I am down 40.The remaining weight is mostly in my arms and thighs.

My ob said I can start as soon as I hit 6 weeks which is next Saturday. So csection girls, what types of exercises, routines, videos did you use in the beginning? Anyone sart with the couch to 5k? I would at least love to lose the last 12 lbs by Christmas and would love to be toned again by March.

Thanks

I walked and jogged and then played tennis. Congratulations on your new baby!

Congrats on having a baby and losing most of the weight already!!! That is amazing!!!

I would start slow, maybe start walking and then see if you can do intervals or full jog/run. if it is mostly in your arms and thighs, then maybe you can do strength training with weights for your arms and lunges for your thighs (Altho i dont know if u can do lunges or if it will be painful or what not).

I started with the 30 day shred and some step aerobics vids I had. I couldn't really do everything at first though. I didn't start running again until about 10 weeks pp I think. Definitely start slow and know that it will take a while. I'm still working on the last stubborn 8 pounds at 5 months pp.

My OB gave me the go to start running at 2weeks. I started at 2 weeks 1 day. He said I could do any exercise, but abs would just be more difficult.
